Installment Payment Plans (IPPs) are offered as a payment option to help students and families manage the cost of educational expenses. There are three types of Installment Payment Plans, which are only available during the Fall and Spring semesters:

Student records, maintained by San Diego State University, are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA gives you the ability to release your education records to third parties, such as a parent, guardian, spouse, etc.

The Financial Statements can be found within the Financial Account Tile on my.SDSU. Students have the ability to easily generate real-time, itemized statements of their account transactions, including; charges, payments, and refunds.

The Financial Account Tile in my.SDSU is where students can view their Tuition & Fee Balance, make payments and managed all items related to finances. Use this guide to understand the tabs with the Financial Account Tile and follow along the "Navigating your Financial Account Tile".

Former Students can make a payment by following intructions provided on this guide. For additional questions, students are encouraged to contact the Cal Coast Student Financial Center. 

Form 1098-T is an informational document submitted to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that details the amount students have paid for qualified tuition expenses. 

Student Guide on Checking Tuition Balance after Financial Aid has been awarded. Once enrolled and after the financial aid award has posted, students can check their potential out-of-pocket expense by following the steps on the guide.

Direct Deposit is the fastest and most secure way for students to receive financial aid and scholarship refunds. For security, new enrollments or updates will trigger a 7-day hold on refunds.

Graduate waivers may appear differently in my.SDSU depending on the type of waiver, when it is applied, and the order in which funding is posted to the student account.
