Payment Due Dates
The due date for tuition and fees will vary depending on when students enroll in courses for a given term, excluding summer*.
All students and parents should refer to the "Financial Account" tile in my.SDSU for their specific due date. Failure to make payment by due date may result in a Late fee.

*Please note:
For the Spring 2026 term, financial aid disbursements will begin in January, about a week before classes begin. Sign up for direct deposit to receive your refund faster. Please be aware that not all University fees can be covered by financial aid. It is the student’s responsibility to review their account for any outstanding balance not covered by their financial aid award. The University Bursar’s Office will send you an email notice when your financial aid or scholarship funds have been processed. Students are responsible for checking their accounts for any remaining balance due.
Late Payment Fees - The University reserves the right to impose Late Payment Fees on Tuition and Fees charges, as well as Housing Installment charges. Please refer to Money Matters for a full description of Late Fee Penalties. Late Fees
